DePaul University's student-run fashion publication, Crescent, releases a new edition annually, with the 2025 theme being Grimm’s Fairytales.

They needed someone to design spreads for the seven chapters of the 2025 edition within a four-month timeframe, and I became that someone.

APPROACH

As the head graphic designer for the publication, I was provided with photos and text, along with mood boards, to design the publication. I also pulled in elements from the classic Grimm’s fairytales, such as delicate ornamental frames.

This allowed me to compose layouts showcasing talented photographers, writers, models, and stylists.
