VENUE POSTERS
Poster Design | Adobe Illustrator / Photoshop | Personal Project
PROJECT BRIEF
A project for the venues I love, all located in Illinois.
SALT SHED
This Salt Shed poster was inspired by the Morton salt that was sitting on my kitchen counter. Creating this larger-than-life salt container gives an interesting perspective to the design. The pouring of the salt adds movement to the poster, making it feel alive.
I took countless pictures of my hand holding the salt container, trying to get the perfect angle and perspective. Unfortunately, I only have one picture left from the process.
METRO
After creating the Salt Shed poster, I felt inspired to create for the iconic Metro concert venue in Chicago. I wanted to incorporate the relatable aspects one has when attending a show here, such as taking the metro, navigating the map, and getting a hot dog after the show.
JUKEBOX
I created this poster for the Jukebox, a comedy club in Peoria, IL. This place has been a wonderful part of my time living in Peoria, and unfortunately, it has been struggling to stay open. This design is dedicated to the Jukebox and is a way I can give back to the community. Stay tuned for more Jukebox projects…
