Promotional posters for the music venues I love in Chicago, IL, each design inspired by the venue’s name itself.
SALT SHED
I was inspired to create this Salt Shed poster after noticing the Morton Salt sitting on my kitchen counter. The larger-than-life salt container and the pouring salt create a unique perspective, adding movement to the poster and making it feel alive.
I took countless pictures of my hand holding the salt container, trying to get the perfect angle and perspective. Unfortunately, I only have one picture left from the process.

After creating the Salt Shed poster, I felt inspired to design something for the iconic Metro concert venue. I wanted to capture the experiences of attending a show here, from taking the Metra train and navigating the map to grabbing a hot dog afterward.
