Brigadier General Frank Kearney graduated in June 1976 from the United states Military Academy. He started his career initially as platoon leader, then recon platoon leader at 8th and 4th infantry where he was assigned his 1st battalion. He then was promoted to executive officer, battalion motor officer and commander of Alfa Company. At this initiating point he had completed his ranger course and the basic course of infantry officer. He then went for completion of the Armor officer’s advanced course. This was at Fort Knox, Ky. While he was pursuing this course he was given the responsibility of 2nd battalion (Ranger). It was actually 75th infantry at fort Lewis, Washington. Here he assisted as S5 as starter and then S1. Further as the commander of Alfa Company. It was the time when urgent fury operation had commenced in Grenada.

Graduation and later life

General Frank Kearney completed his graduation from the Army command and General Staff College. This was during June 1989. He then returned to take hold of his 3rd battalion of Fort Benning. The role he played here was of Plans officer, battalion S3. Additionally he was also the battalion executive officer. Later on with regimental staff he was assigned duties of liaison and Plans officer. Continuing his glorious success the man was given hold of 1st airborne battalion which was at Fort Richardson, in Alaska. This was his one of the huge achievements. Well though that was not all it further continued as commanding 3rd ranger battalion which was at Fort Benning again.

He was successfully able to complete his graduation in June 1997 from United States Army War College in Carlisle, Pa. He then given a responsibility of operation Joint guard, where he was assigned as the chief, Joint Military commission for Multi-National division North in Tuzla. This was in Bosnia-Herzegovina.

Other achievements

General Frank Kearney was commander of infantry brigade SETAF in Vicenza. This was during the period March 1998 to March 2000. During this period his unit participated in many operations. He was J3 at the Joint special operations command. He served this position from April 2000 to June 2002. His promotions went on whereby he was assigned as assistant division commander at Fort riley and then CFSOC commander. In March 2005, he became general commander of special operations command-central command. He is therefore a well-known personality with courage, enthusing and sportsman spirit and who proved that success has no boundaries if the person has will power.
